In August 2026, we had the pleasure of visiting Cowichan Green Community Foundation in Cowichan, BC.

 

​​​​​​​​​​Seeing the amazing work being done there by a few dedicated staff and several volunteers left us inspired and proud to play a part in the work that they do to support their community. Right now their program is supported by growing produce onsite in their greenhouses and selling surplus from that in their farm market. They also have the support of a volunteer chef that comes all the way from Victoria to prepare their meals at an offsite shared kitchen. Once again we were able to help them with some suggestions of how to better utilize the BMD system and to customize some reports to streamline their workflow.

The Spring of 2027 will be very exciting for this team when they are able to open their own new commercial kitchen and food processing building on site!

We hope to be back for the grand opening of this amazing facility that has been several years in the planning and building. We look forward to helping them grow and expand their impact in the community!
