Visiting Kiwanis Village Nanaimo on Vancouver Island

In August 2026 had the pleasure of visiting Kiwanis Village Meals on Wheels in Nanaimo, BC.​​​​​​​​​​​​​

It was exciting to connect with the incredible team there and meet them all face-to-face. Learning how organizations use Better Meal Delivery on a daily basis helps us understand what is working well, what can be improved, and to talk about new features that they might not yet be taking full advantage of. We came away from our meeting with a few action items to help improve their use of BMD, particularly when it comes to volunteer management.

Using Better Meal Delivery, the Kiwanis Village team is doing a wonderful job of providing a much needed service to approximately 150 clients in their community.

We were glad for the opportunity to learn directly from the team using the system every day, and to support them in this very important work.
