Langley Volunteers launches bettercommunity.ca

In partnership with Langley Volunteers we launched the bettercommunity.ca website to register volunteers. They now have almost 1,000 volunteers registered in Langley!

Recently they have been looking for businesses who have work experience (WAVE) opportunities for students. Many Langley schools have been directing students to register if they are looking for work experience and we've seen a large number of students registering in the last month.

This is understandably a tough time for most small businesses including ours, but if you do have a student opportunity and are interested in connecting with students in the community, please reach out to the Langley Volunteer Bureau. They are a fellow member of the Greater Langley Chamber of Commerce and could use local business support to provide more work experience opportunities for our local students.
